The liquid-metering core shown is a DRS Dual Resolution Syringe, but the mounting and DRD Visual Basic software GUI are designed to accommodate all models of the CV1dur pump shown or the elegant Plexi pump. Those ready options can transfer down to 0.1 µL and do 10,000:1 single stroke dilutions. CV1dur 2.8/15 has a 125-fold resolution multiplier, for example!
Our Visual Basic GUI controls all the DRD liquid-metering cores to handle fine microplates and larger containers. Features unique to DRD’s unique core technology, like the pink TEVIA factor that give real-time flow and control.
Top left is a PCR in which 0.2 µL or 0.5 µL of red sample is aspirated and mixed to homogeneity right in the tip with 5 µL yellow and 5 µL blue reagent – then cleanly dispensed all mixed! Middle is a MALDI in which 1µL yellow dye and 1µL blue dye are precisely aspirated and dispensed as (you guessed it) a 2 µL green drop. Bottom right is a repetitive “shearoff” dispense of 2 µL red dye drops.

Your 6 Favorites programs are one-button push away every day, and can draw upon the extensive database of programs that come with it (which you can modify). Or you can easily write your own program in high level “aspirate dispense” language all the way down to command code.
