Little Squirt and Bench Top Liquid Handlers

Little Squirt

Completely self-contained, Little Squirt is routinely used with the front cover closed, with the versatile RoboProbe hand probe. The cover is swung open to write or edit programs. The arrows show that the 2 stout pistons differ by only 0.001″ – one thousandths of an inch. This extraordinary fine resolution is like that of a 10 (ten!) µL syringe, which provides a huge 0.24″ (6 mm) to move to aspirate 1 µL, allowing precision down to 50 nanoliters of close to 1%. Maximum volume is 1 mL. The BROCHURE covers it well, and several movies are provided below.

Little Squirt 10,000:1 Dilution Favorite

Little Squirt uses its differential mode to aspirate 100 nanoliters, precisely and accurately. Then Little Squirt’s single mode dispenses the100 nL sample followed by 1 mL of internal water or reagent. This is a 10,000 fold dilution done in a SINGLE STROKE of a precisely aspirated 100 nanoliter sample.

Little Squirt Free Jet Repetitive Dispensing Favorite

Little Squirt aspirates a larger volume and then repetitively dispenses 2 µL contact-free.

Little Squirt Combines 200 nL Sample with Two 15 µL Primers

Little Squirt aspirates two 15 µL primers or reagents with its single mode and then aspirates 200 nL sample precisely and accurately in its differential mode. Then delivers all 3 together cleanly contact-free.

Shows closeup of the two pistons and the long 0.050 inches they have to move together in the differential mode to aspirate the 200 nL – same distance that a 10 µL syringe would have! This distance gives the high precision and accuracy.

Little Squirt Comprehensive 25 Minute Movie

This movie begins with an excellent 30 second graphic and dual piston closeup that explains where the extraordinary precision and accuracy comes from. THIS IS WORTH WATCHING, but you may not want to sit through the remaining 25 minutes. What follows are 6 Favorite applications, including the incredible single-stroke 10,000:1 (ten thousand fold!) dilution of a precisely aspirated 100 nanoliter sample, and contact-free repetitive-dispensing. But there are several very short movies above that also show some of these.

Bench Top System Using Dual Resolution Syringe

Complete Bench-Top liquid handling system using the Dual Resolution Syringe as its metering core. The unique resolution multiplier of 25 gives great precision and accuracy down to nanoliters and the option of completely clean contact-free delivery at all volumes. Shown is DRS model 18/340 in a Hamilton PSD4 pump drive, with maximum differential and single mode volumes of 18 µL and  340 µL. DRS model 15/300 is the equivalent using a Cavro XP3000 type pump drive.  Able to do the DRD 6 Favorites and just about anything else you want in this most economical package. Run by a PC with the friendly DRD Visual Basic Software that comes with it. Click on Brochure or photo for details.

Bench Top System Using Plexi Pump

Complete Bench-Top liquid handling system using the Plexi Pump as its metering core. Immunochemistry analyzer design favorite. Integrated valve. Maximum volume 3.6 mL. Unsurpassed precision and accuracy, down to nanoliters, with the option of completely clean contact-free delivery. Able to do the DRD 6 Favorites and just about anything else you want. Run by a PC with the friendly DRD Visual Basic Software that comes with it. Available in rear ort, front port or side port.

Bench Top System Using CV1dur Differential Displacement Pump

Complete Bench-Top liquid handling system utilizes the incredible CV1 dur pump, with an integrated linear lead screw, as its metering core. This Differential Displacement/Dual Resolution double-piston pump gives 2.8 mL max volume and resolution multipliers from 9 to 125X, giving 1% CV precision down to 300 nanoliters. Able to deliver discrete samples by completely clean contact-free blowoff. Able to do the DRD 6 Favorites and just about anything else you want. Run by a PC with the friendly DRD Visual Basic Software that comes with it. Click on the photo or select Brochure Back to see the entire system and choice of CV1dur modules, and select Brochure Front to see the CV1dur core and further details.
