PipettorPlus

PipettorPlus is the World’s first and only differential Pipettor. We developed it to be the World’s best pipettor – and we think it is. The BROCHURE shows the mechanism, features, and specifications.

You can see the 2 husky pistons facing each other even as you use it, with ambient air stabilizing the internal temperature, so you don’t need to worry about heat from your hand. You can also see the large, compliant O-ring seal and appreciate how reliable the sealing is.

Those 2 pistons you see differ very slightly in diameter. It is that very difference that gives the precise resolution by Differential Displacement – without any skinny piston and the sealing difficulties that go with that. Even our models that go down to 0.2 µL have those sturdy pistons and rugged seals that don’t leak. Failed aspiration low outliers from occasional seal leaks that you may be accustomed to do not occur here.

Once aspirated, you can dispense exactly as you do now – by touchoff-and-drag or immersion. But if you want, the PipettorPlus will let you dispense by blowoff, contact-free and with no possibility of contamination. Just point where you want your aspirated sample to go and push, and the sample will go there. No contact with the receiving site in environments that are sterile or where contamination is a disaster.

PipettorPlus Fast Small Volume Array

Fixed-volume Differential Pipettors are used to provide a very fast array of 3 drops each of 10 µL, 5 µL, 2µL, 1 µL and 0.75 µL. The pipetting transfers are all contact-free and clean.

PipettorPlus 1 µL Rapid Pipetting

5 1 µL drops are rapidly pipetted by a fixed volume Differential Pipettor with regular tips and then with filter tips to show there is no difference.

NEPTUNE96 Overview

As described in the BROCHURE, NEPTUNE96 is a semi-automated, 96-channel desktop Differential Pipettor that can pipette and dispense with clean, contact-free delivery down to 200 nanoliters with untouchable precision and accuracy. Rapidly accesses 384 well plates with quadrant-locater.

Pleasing to use and elegant, NEPTUNE96 exemplifies the best and most sensible sharing of the operating interface between human and machine. Run by a PC with our powerful and customized DRD Visual Basic control software, the electronics and logic move the pistons for superb aspiration precision. It gives just the right dispensing velocity for contact-free delivery as you want it – ranging from fast “blastoff” to gentle “plopoff” delivery that harms neither babies nor genetic fragments. But for moving the pipetting head module up-and-down, or the 3-position carriage fore-and-aft, it defers to your swift and decisive human hand on the comfortable knob handle, knowing that you can’t stab yourself and don’t need a clumsy protective shield or bubble.

96 tips with 1 µL of liquid are shown here in this Inserter model. The Deska Magenta mandrel/tip combination delivers down to 500 and even 250 nanoliters contact-free with high precision and accuracy.
